United defender Richard Keogh will probably not want to see his penalty from the shoot out again, even if his team mates will take every opportunity to remind him about it! Despite that miss, he was delighted to reach Wembley and we caught up with him for his reaction after the game.
He said: "I'm really lost for words after all that!
"What a fantastic game it was to be involved in. I thought we played pretty well on the night but their goals probably came from our own mistakes more than anything else. But we've made it in the end and we're all just glad to be through to the final.
"I think we deserved our first half lead as we'd had the best chances. It was our intention to go out and put them on the back foot and we did that well. We got a lot of free kicks and corners and then Adam's taken his chance superbly to put us one-nil up.
"Obviously we let them back into it at the start of the second half but our heads didn't drop and we kept battling, Hursty took advantage of one of their mistakes and scored with a great finish. But again we let them back in it but that's cup football for you sometimes. In the end though we've done it and can look forward to the final.
"We always seem to do it the hard way. The penalty shoot out had plenty of drama in it. To be honest... I don't know what I was doing with my penalty. I was trying to get a lot of power on it but not that much! I was just in shock after I'd hit it. I don't think I'll be getting put forward for one if it comes to that at Wembley that's for certain!
"It's just one of those things really. I was confident enough to put myself forward to take one and I've missed but big Adam's come through for us and pulled off two fantastic saves. They were actually two good penalties from the Leeds players but he's done brilliantly to stop them.
"I have kind of been to the new Wembley before. I went with Bristol City to the play-off final in 2008 but I wasn't in the squad so never got to actually play there.
"Hopefully I'll get the chance to play on the hallowed turf this time around and help the team get a positive result. It's a great reward for everyone involved at the club and should be a great day out for the fans."
