TICKET SALES CLOSED
Brunton Park will see its biggest crowd of the season so far tonight for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern area final second leg clash as Leeds United and Carlisle United go head-to-head for the right to progress to Wembley on Sunday 28 March.
At the 2pm ticket deadline, and still with a queue of telephone sales to clear, the combined ticket sales for both clubs stood at 9,431. Of this number 1,417 will be supporting the Whites with 8,014 roaring the Blues on to what would be their fifth Football League Trophy final appearance.
Manager Greg Abbott: "The last few days have shown that fans from all over the region, and beyond, want to support their club.
"It will be a fantastic atmosphere tonight and we are sure that Brunton Park will be an intimidating place with our supporters shouting for everything and really getting behind their team. We are all really looking forward to it."
Kick off tonight is at 7pm and, should the game be tied at full time, it will go straight to a penalty shoot-out decider.
