Carlisle United winger Matty Robson spoke to us after setting up the equaliser at the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday.

He said: "The game went very well. I think that we battled well and that we maybe had the better of the second half. We were under the cosh a bit in the first half but we certainly didn't back down from the challenge when we fell a goal down."

"Typical of the group, we equalised and we looked like we might edge the second half," he added. "I think that we have got bags of energy in the team and we are a bunch of fit lads. I suppose that it's the never-say-die attitude, and we don't take going a goal down as a blow. We always look to bounce back from it."

Robson was left disappointed in the first half when a neat lob was ruled offside by the Assistant Referee. However, there is some confusion as to whether he was offside or not during the build up.

"I have been told two stories," he admitted. "The gaffer says that I was onside while the lads seem to think that I was a couple of inches offside. But obviously if we had continued on playing then it would have been a nice goal to have."

Robson overcame the disappointment of having his goal ruled out by providing the cross for Ben Marshall to slot home Carlisle's well deserved equaliser.

"I think that Evan played the ball inside the full back," he explained. "We've linked up well down there recently, and I have obviously got into the box and looked up. I saw everyone rushing towards the goal and I managed to see a red shirt pull off, and I tried to pick one out. Luckily Ben was there to score his first goal for the club."

It's now on to the visit of Leeds United in the Johnstone's Paint Northern Final Second Leg on Tuesday night.

He said: "It's a massive, massive incentive for us to get to Wembley. All of the lads have been looking forward to it. Obviously there is that cautious side to it, and we have got to be sensible about the way that we play, but we won't be sitting back. It's just not the way we do things."
