United keeper Lenny Pidgeley missed training today as he stayed away from the ground under doctor's orders.
Pidgeley, 25, passed a late fitness test ahead of the game at Elland Road on Tuesday night as he struggled against a virus but was feeling under the weather when he reported in this morning.
Manager Greg Abbott said: "Lenny is not very well at all.
"He has had the doctor in with him today and he has been placed on a course of tablets. He seems to be suffering with a bit more than the head cold that has been going around, but we're hopeful that he will be ok once these antibiotics kick in. Fingers crossed he will be over it by Saturday."
"The good thing is that we have a strong replacement in Adam Collin," he added. "If Lenny isn't fit then I am confident that Adam is ready to step up and do the job with no problem. It is a much stronger situation than we had last season, when we had to loan a keeper in, and I don't think that Adam would be bothered by it at all. He's still in his infancy as far as his career is concerned, but he gives you the feeling that he is ready to make that next step. That's a good position for us to be in."
