UNITED 1 - 3 BLACKPOOL

United take on Blackpool in their final pre-season home friendly.

16 secs - Gary Taylor Fletcher broke quickly from the kick off and got the ball to Devriese. He crossed but Keogh was there to clear.

2 mins - Madine spread the play to Taylor and he won a corner as he crossed from the right.

3 mins - Robson jinked left and swung the ball in but the keeper was able to gather as Madine came from wide.

4 mins - A Vaughan free kick from 24-yards went over everyone but curled wide of the upright.

9 mins - Good possession led to a foul on Bridge-Wilkinson 20-yards out. Blackpool clearit for a corner that Bridge-Wilkinson stepped up to take. An excellent delivery was met by Richard Keogh and he made no mistake with a powerful header from close range.

13 mins - Kavanagh stole a yard and thumped a near post cross towards Robson, btu he couldn't keep his header down and it rose over the bar.

17 mins - A stabbed ball forward from Thirlwell put Madine through the middle but his shot, uner pressure, was easy for Gilkes to save.

24 mins - Robson was millimetres away from the second goal of the evening when he dropped his shoulder and curled a right foot shot just past the post from 20-yards following good hold-up play from Bridge-Wilkinson.

31 mins - Livesey tried to clear an awkwardly bouncing ball and Euell picked up the loose ball. He strode clear and picked his spot with a low shot beneath the keeper.

32 mins - Keogh won the header at another corner but Gilkes scrambled across to grab the ball as it angled towards the line.

37 mins - Blackpool worked the space well but a saving header from Keogh took the ball away from Burgess.

38 mins - Kavanagh released Madine but the young striker miscued his shot and dragged it well wide.

39 mins - Devriese smashed the ball into the side netting under pressure from Kane when Taylor-Fletcher shot across the face of the 6-yard box.

45 mins - Ormerod looked to be offside as he put his side ahead on the stroke of half time when he finished off a well-worked free kick.

Half Time: United 1 - 2 Blackpool

50 mins - The first chance of the half was a screwed shot from Taylor-Fletcher that twisted away towards the corner flag.

58 mins - Madine hit one from 22-yards following good work from Anyinsah, but it was right at Gilkes.

66 mins - Cleveland Taylor raced down the right and put the ball to the near post, but Anyinsah sent his volley the wrong side of the post.

70 mins - Euell picked the ball up from deep and raced through the defence to go one-on-one with Pidgeley. With no challenge forthcoming he was able to loft the ball over the keeper to make it 3-1 to the visitors.

73 mins - Taylor headed a Robson corner towards the far post but Craney got a touch to take in onto the post. Anyinsah and Taylor followed up but the defenders regrouped and cleared.

78 mins - The ball hung in front of Anyinsah as Keogh nodded down a Robson corner, but he couldn't get the shot away as the defence rallied to clear the ball.

84 mins - Tinnion fed a ball in but Dobie couldn't quite reach the ball as he slid in to make contact.

United - Pidgeley, Kane (Raven 46), Livesey (Murphy 65), Keogh, Harte, Taylor (Rothery 83), Kavanagh (Taiwo 61), Thirlwell (Burns 76), Bridge-Wilkinson (Anyinsah 46), Robson (Tinnion 83), Madine (Dobie 61). Subs - Collin.
