Carlisle United fans are being reminded that they can save themselves up to £30 on the cost of a season ticket by purchasing one before the final Early Buy deadline of June 12.
More than 1,000 loyal United supporters have already shown their support for the Blues by buying a season ticket for the forthcoming 2009-10 League One campaign, with prices frozen for the third successive year.
For many who receive a wage towards the end of the month, these next few days will offer a last chance for them to take advantage of the cut-price deals available before the Friday June 12 Early Buy closing date.
Until then, season tickets for adults are available from just £280, with seniors from £205, juniors from £145 and children from £40. Admission is again free for all accompanied under-sevens.
Fans can also spread the cost by paying in five installments for their season tickets, which offer savings of up to £180 on the total cost of matchday admission prices over 23 league games.
United's managing director John Nixon said: "There was an incredible response to our first Early Buy deadline of April 30, which we introduced for the first time this year. Just over 800 people took advantage of that and saved themselves up to £50 in doing so.
"The next date to be aware of now for season tickets is June 12. Over the last few days, a lot more people have started renewing theirs or buying new ones as they get paid and because they now know for sure that we will be playing in League One again against the likes of Leeds, Norwich, Charlton and Southampton.
"I think the signing of Ian Harte last week has also been a really positive factor. We have had an very good response from fans since we re-opened the ticket office after the bank holiday and we are expecting some busy days leading up to June 12."
Season tickets for adults cost £280 to stand or £360 to sit if bought before June 12, rising to £310 or £390 respectively afterwards. The same prices apply to family membership for one adult and up to two children. For seniors, season tickets cost £205 or £250, rising to £225 and £265. Juniors are priced £145 or £160, rising to £160 and £185. Children are £40 or £60, rising to £45 or £65.
These prices represent the equivalent of between five and nine free games on full match-day admission prices.
United had 2,700 season ticket holders last season, a total bettered only once in the club's history.
The League One fixtures for the new season are published on Wednesday June 17. United's players report back for training on July 1, with the first pre-season friendly at Penrith on Friday July 10. The 2009-10 League One campaign starts on Saturday August 8.
Season tickets can be purchased from the ticket office at Brunton Park or by calling its direct line on 0844 371 1921 or by emailing ticket.printing@carlisleunited.co.uk.
