United boss Greg Abbott and striker Danny Graham held further talks this morning as the former-Middlesbrough forward continues to mull over a two-year contract offer that would keep him here at Brunton Park until the summer of 2011.

Graham, 23, has scored 40 goals in just over 100 starts for the Cumbrians and ended last season as top scorer with 16 League One strikes.

Abbott said: "I talked to Danny this morning and, as it stands, there is no change to the situation.

"Talks with him will be ongoing but, as we said yesterday, those who were offered contracts were given a month to make their decision, so he does still have time on his side."
