PITCH LOOKING GOOD
The removal of the pitch covers at Brunton Park on Monday morning revealed that the playing surface has survived the worst of the bad weather over the weekend.
With the forecast for the region deemed to be favourable, particularly with rising temperatures tomorrow morning, the Brunton Park staff are confident that the Walsall game will go ahead on Tuesday evening, kick off 7-45pm.
Managing Director John Nixon said: "We have spoken to the Football League this morning and we have indicated that there will probably not be a need to call anyone in for a pitch inspection at this stage.
"Obviously we need to watch what the weather does overnight, and react accordingly, but it is all looking good at this moment in time."
