Live from Brunton Park, Lee Rooney brings you blow by blow action from this today's League One game against MK Dons. Keep pressing refresh on your browser to read the latest update.

1655: What a second-half performance from the Blues. Plenty of energy and passion from the United players, it looks like it was an inspired half-time team-talk by Greg Abbott. The decision to bring on Anyinsah also looks a great one, he caused all kinds of problems playing as a forward. Possibly a new useful outlet for the Blues. The 3 points sees United move up to 15th as the revival under Abbott continues. Keep logging on to the official site over the weekend for full reaction to a superb win. I'll be back in a couple of weeks for the Colchester game but will also be doing updates from the Cumberland Cup tie against Whitehaven. Keep an eye out for those. Never boring being a United fan!

FULL TIME - Carlisle United 3 (Graham 46, Thirlwell 64, Anyinsah 77) MK Dons 2 (Wilbraham 15, 39)

91 mins: It's going to be a nervy finish as the ref adds on a minimum of four minutes injury time at the end of the game.

90 mins: More suspect handling by Gueret. Llara slips and Anyinsah is closing down the big Dons keeper and he claims the ball but looks to be a yard outside his area. Mr Haines doesn't see it again.

89 mins: Incredible miss by Wilbraham. A wicked low shot by Johnson is spilled by Krul and it falls to Wilbraham from 3 yards out and he blazes it over the bar, wasting the chance of a hat-trick.

87 mins: Daft free-kick given away by Taylor about 30 yards from the United goal. Baldock takes the free-kick and it's a good one that flies just wide of the angle of post and bar.

84 mins: Sponsor's Man of the Match today is Paul Thirlwell and it's hard to argue. The former Sunderland man has bossed the midfield in this second-half along side Graham Kavanagh, who is playing with energy that belies his 35 years.

82 mins: Great possession play by United deep in the MK Dons half. Must have been at least a couple of dozen passes before Hackney tries to play Graham in but it's just a bit overhit. The United striker had been flagged offside anyway though.

78 mins: Chance for MK Dons but the Dons players smashed it on to the roof of the Warwick. Some afters from a tackle in the build-up to the shot sees Livesey pick up a yellow but incredibly, another let-off for the MK Dons players.

77 mins: GOAL! Carlisle United 3 (Anyinsah) MK Dons 2 - What a comeback by United and it's looking an inspired changed by Greg Abbott! Anyinsah breaks free down the right and advances towards goal. He hits a shot that takes a huge deflection of Llera and flies over Gueret's head and into the net. United have been excellent in this second-half.

75 mins: Wilbraham gets booked and referee Haines indicates it's for persistant fouling. To be honest, he could easily have picked up a yellow for leaving his foot in on Murphy for that foul alone.

72 mins: United make their second change of the game, as Scott Dobie comes off after a grafting performance upfront and is replaced by Joe Anyinsah, making his second debut for the club. MK Dons also make a change, replacing the dangerous looking Mark Wright with Florian Sturm replacing him. Looks like Johnson has switched to the right with Sturm going to the left for the visitors.

71 mins: United are well on top now and some of the MK Dons players are getting a bit riled. This game is a bit reminiscant of those wins over Port Vale in the last two seasons.

69 mins: Some Thirlwell goal-scoring stats for you - that's his second goal in seven games, having previously only scored one League goal and one League Cup goal in his entire career. He's turning into a real goal-machine!

67 mins: Ref plays on after a late tackle by Kav but it comes to nothing. A minute later as play stops, he brings Kav and the defender together and books the United player-coach but only gives a ticking off to the MK defender.

64 mins: GOAL! Carlisle United 2 (Thirlwell) MK Dons 2 - Just minutes after that bursting run through midfield, Thirlwell gets United back on level terms. A long free-kick from Raven on the halfway line is chested down by Dobie, an MK Dons defender clears it to the edge of the box where Thirlwell takes a touch before smashing a low shot into the bottom corner. Gueret got a hand to it but could only turn it on to the post.

60 mins: Hackney wins a free-kick on the left and it's whipped in again by Kav but is easy pickings for Gueret, who has been a lot busier already in this half.

58 mins: Today's attendance is 6,298. Wilbraham breaks down the right and plays it back to Johnson but he sends his low left-footed shot well wide of the goal.

56 mins: It's not only Hackney and Taylor that can do the great dribbling and running in this team, as Paul Thirlwell charges through the middle of the pitch, manages a clever little trick to beat his man then sends in a low shot that picks up a deflection, slowing the ball down enough to make it comfortable for Gueret.

55 mins: Has Mr Haines been reading this MBM report at half-time? He's given us yet another free-kick! Dobie looked set to advance on goal but was pulled back by a defender. Kav swings it towards the top far corner but it hasn't got enough pace to beat Gueret.

51 mins: Another free-kick for United! Kav swings this one in and an MK Dons defender gets just enough on it to divert the ball for a corner as Murphy looked set to pounce. The resulting corner is also taken by Kav and Murphy heads it towards goal and it hits Lewington on the chest. Cries of handball from the United fans but it clearly hit the big defender's stomach.

50 mins: Wilbraham links up well with his strike partner and has a chance to shoot for his hat-trick from the edge of the box but he sends it into the back of the Warwick Road End stand.

49 mins: There's a huge cheer at Brunton Park and it's because Mr Haines has finally given a free-kick to United (and that was for a soft foul on Murphy!). The free-kick doesn't come to anything though.

46 mins: GOAL! Carlisle United 1 (Graham) MK Dons 2 - That'll be just the start Greg Abbott was looking for. Livesey launches a ball forward with Graham brings down and turns superbly around his defender before hitting a sweet left-foot shot from the right hand side past Gueret into the far corner of the net. Great goal from Danny for his 15th strike of the season. Game on!

1605: Both teams are back out on the pitch, along with Mr Haines who again gets a nicely friendly Brunton Park welcome. MK Dons will start the second-half, with United now kicking towards the Waterworks End.

1557: United are by no means out of this game but they could maybe do with a few more decisions going their way. Referee Andy Haines is probably the least popular man in Brunton Park right now and I have to say some of his decisions have been a little puzzling. Hopefully that'll be a galvanizing factor in the second half as United look to fight back against the high-flying Dons.

1548: HALF-TIME - Carlisle United - MK Dons 2 (Wilbraham 15, 39)

Half-time and United are behind to the team currently second in League One. Despite that, both sides have been fairly evenly matched and United have had some chances to get back in the game. As the teams come off at half-time there's a lot of boos but not for the United players. No prizes for guessing who is getting the most stick from home fans as he leaves the field. More from me shortly, I'm off for some refreshment.

45 mins: A minimum of two minutes of added on before half-time.

45 mins: Unbelievable. That wasn't even debateable, as Liddle clearly wins the ball but has a free-kick given against him 30 yards out. Liddle picks up a booking for a good tackle and it's another opportunity for the visitors but it's an absolutely shocking free-kick that goes about 30 yards over the bar.

41 mins: Haines is continuing to give some odd looking decisions to the Dons and it's really riling the fans in the Main Stand. I await the sarcastic cheer when he finally gives us a free-kick.

39 mins: GOAL! Carlisle United 0 MK Dons 2 (Wilbraham) - Second of the game for the MK Dons forward. Looks like Murphy was fouled in the build up by the goalscorer who slotted the ball calmly past Krul.

38 mins: Hackney looks to break away down the left but he's penalised for a push on an MK Dons defender. That gets Dennis Booth off the bench to have a "quiet" word with the fourth official.

33 mins: Dobie sets Cleveland away down the right and he lofts a cross into the box. Graham gets on the end of it but he can't get any power in to his header and it's easily held by Gueret.

30 mins: MK Dons go incredibly close to a second. A cross from the right finds Baldock at the near post, he turns and hits a shot that clips Krul's legs and is heading in until Danny Livesey smashes it over his own bar from barely 3 yards out. The resulting corner goes straight out of play.

28 mins: SUBSTITUTION: Early change for United, as Jeff Smith comes off for Simon Hackney. Looks like it's an injury for Jazzy Jeff as he's not complaining about being taken off.

27 mins: Close to an equaliser for United. Kav floats in a great free-kick from the right and Dobie arrives late but can only direct his header a few feet wide of the post.

25 mins: Mr Haines isn't making himself popular here, giving what look like a couple of very soft free-kicks to the visitors. It's at least lifted the United fans!

21 mins: Unusual moment there, as Taylor nearly nicks the ball off Gueret at the edge of the box and then the MK keeper appears to take a slight step out of his area with the ball in his hands. Fans in the Warwick End were convinced but referee Haines saw nothing.

19 mins: They might not be here in huges numbers today, but the MK Dons fans in the East Stand are making a fair bit of noise so far. Fans in the home end have gone a bit quiet since the visitors took the lead.

16 mins: Nearly an instant reply for United as Taylor gets the better of Lewington again but his cross is headed away for a corner with Dobie lurking. The corner by Smith is a bit too deep and is cleared by the MK defence.

15 mins: GOAL! Carlisle United 0 MK Dons 1 (Wilbraham) - Despite United probably being the better side, it's the visitors who take the lead. A superb cross from the left by Jemal Johnson misses everyone and falls to Wilbraham at the far post who smashes it into the ground and it bounces over Krul and into the net.

14 mins: A bit of a mix-up between Liddle and Smith allows MK Dons to break away down the right but Raven blocks well and condedes the corner. The first corner is cleared out for another and the second is headed away by Kav at the near post.

11 mins: Corner from MK Dons and Krul comes for it but doesn't get anywhere near it and it's headed just wide of the far post. Bit of a let-off for the on-loan Dutch keeper there.

10 mins: Close call there as Dobie is played through by Kavanagh but he's flagged offside. Looked touch and go from up here.

6 mins: Soft free-kick for the Dons as it looked like Kavanagh won the ball. It's wasted anyway as Lewington plays it to Wilbraham who was offside. Lewington so far hasn't looked too clever and is struggling to cope with Taylor on the right.

4 mins: Good chance for United. Great battling play by Cleveland Taylor sets David Raven free down the right. He sends in a low cross which is put out at the near post. The corner from Jeff Smith causes all kinds of problems and it eventually falls to Dobie who sticks out a leg and it's cleared off the line by an MK Dons defender before eventually being hacked away as Taylor looked to nip in.

1501: United will be kicking off and will be playing towards the Warwick Road End in the first-half. Danny Graham and Paul Thirlwell get the game underway.

1458: Both teams are now out, with "One Step Beyond" blazing over the tannoy as usual. Reports in the news this morning suggested that there's going to be some horrible weather hitting Cumbria at 3pm today. So far no sign of that although the wind is starting to pick up a bit. That should put the kiss of death on any chance of it being nice at today's game then.

1454: Today's referee is Mr Andy Haines of Tyne and Wear. It's his second visit to Brunton Park this season, having taken charge of the 2-1 win over Southend United back in September. Incidently, that game was John Ward's last win as Carlisle manager. Can't see that being any sort of omen today (at least I hope not!).

1452: Some more Youth Team stuff, Tom Aldred is currently writing a blog for the League Football Education website. You can check out his latest blog by clicking here. Tom has also just been nominated for the Football League Apprentice of the Year award as well as recently training with the Scotland U-19 side so it's going well at the moment for the United Youth Team captain.

1442: While we're waiting for kick-off to arrive as Greg and Kav take the players through their warm-ups, a bit of news from this morning's youth team game. Yet another win for the lads, this time a 4-0 victory over Blackpool. A double each from Andy Cook and Ryan Bowman at Gilford Park put the lads on the way to another three points. The only slight blotch on the game was an injury picked up by Cook. Keep an eye on Dolly's Injury Update on the official site this Monday for more on that as well as Eric Kinder's reaction to the match tomorrow.

1434: One interesting thing about the United line-up is no striker on the bench. Although both Anyinsah and MBW can play in advance role if required. For MK, former Chelsea, Leeds and Rangers star Tore Andre Flo has to settle for a place on the bench, with Peter Leven starting and hoping to repeat his two-goal salvo from back in October against United.

1432: So it's Scott Dobie who comes in for Michael Bridges upfront as Greg Abbott choses to stick with the 4-4-2 formation that has worked well over the last few weeks. For MK Dons, Jude Stirling and his Rory Delap-esque throw-ins won't be on show, as he's out injured.

1429: Here's todays teams:

Carlisle: Krul, Raven, Liddle, Livesey, Murphy, Taylor, Thirlwell, Kavanagh, J. Smith, Dobie, Graham. Subs: Williams, Bridge-Wilkinson, Anyinsah, Hackney, Keogh.

MK Dons: Gueret, Lewington, Llera, O'Hanlon, Wright, Johnson, Wilbraham, Baldock, Cummings, Navarro, Leven. Subs: Abbey (GK), Sturm, Gerba, Howell, Flo.

1423: Both teams are out on the pitch doing their pre-match warm-ups. The big question for the United team today is who will take the place of Michael Bridges, who misses out due to a slight injury picked up in the 2-0 win at Leeds last season.

1421: Afternoon folks and welcome to the first Minute By Minute report of 2009! MK Dons are the visitors to Brunton Park this afternoon and depending on which way you look at it, it's either the first time they've come to Cumbria to play United or the fifth. I won't tell you which one I think is correct but anyone who saw one of my programme articles earlier this season will know what I think on the matter! Teams news will be here first once we get it.
