23-year-old defender Josh Gowling has this afternoon extended his stay with Hereford United until 24 January 2009.

Gowling, who signed a five-week deal with the Bulls at the end of November, has made 5 appearances for the Edgar Street outfit to add to the 6 appearances he made for United prior to making the move.

The tall centre back joined the club from Bournemouth on a two-year contract last summer but is yet to hold down a regular starting place with the Blues.
