The Cumbrians Holiday Club, in association with Thomas Cook, has just enjoyed its first birthday and we are delighted to report that it has been nothing short of a roaring success.

Scores of United supporting families and travellers have taken advantage of the 5% discount offered by the Holiday Club, on all bookings made with Thomas Cook, with a turnover in excess of £1 million reported over the course of the last twelve months.

Thomas Cook's Holiday Club liaison officer Lisa Davies said: "Carlisle United supporters have made very good use of their Holiday Club so far, and we hope that continues. All they have to do when they go in to the Branch to book their trip or holiday is tell the staff that they are a Carlisle United supporter, and we will do the rest for them. The 5% discount can make quite a difference, and we are delighted that people are taking advantage of the savings to be made."
