TRIAL PAIR ALLOWED TO LEAVE
Teenagers Ashley-Paul Robinson and Tyrone Cameron have been released from their respective trial periods with the club with immediate effect.
Defender Cameron, a former-Fulham Academy trainee, has been with the club for the past fortnight whilst Robinson, who made 6 first team appearances for Crystal Palace last season, joined up with John Ward and his team last Thursday.
The manager told us: "We've let them go this morning and they won't be taking any further part in our sessions here at Brunton Park. I took them both off at half time in the Workington game, as you will have seen, as they were both struggling with the pace. It's always worth taking a look at trial players but, unfortuntaley for these two, it hasn't quite worked out for them up here on this occasion. Obviously we all wish them well as they move on now."
