Details we have so far:
Nice One Skip by Peter McConnell - available in November 2008
Nice One Skip is a collection of anecdotes and stories from Carlisle United's longest serving captain as we follow him through his football career.
From the training pitches at Elland Road to a history making night of high drama at Brunton Park, Peter gives us a peek behind the scenes at football in the 1950's and 60's.
Learn how he had to put up with Jack Charlton and his antics when he roomed with him in Beeston, and discover just how close Don Revie really came to leaving Leeds United.
Just how good was Revie as a manager, and how far was Billy Bremner prepared to go to avoid the regular team bonding sessions arranged by his mentor? Both questions, and more, are answered here.
With Carlisle, Peter takes us on a memorable journey as he first had to bid a fond farewell to the popular Ivor Powell, and then had to adjust to the very different styles of Alan Ashman, Tim Ward and Bob Stokoe.
Find out who spent most of the United team talks in an uninterrupted and very deep sleep, and how it took a pair of ankle high basketball trainers, and some harsh words, before the legendary Dick Young would finally accept McConnell in to the fold.
The Cumbrians' first ever title winning campaign is given more than a once over, as are Carlisle favourites like John Evans, Willie Carlin and Frank Large, to name but a few.
A truly fascinating selection of unique memories, Nice One Skip will be available from 1 November 2008 - priced at £11-95.

Blue Army - Neil Nixon
Neil explains: 'I want to do a book celebrating the Blue Army. Our support has been an inspiration to the club over the years and I think it's time the many stories - good, bad and ugly - about supporting Carlisle were gathered together and shared. And I mean everything, your all time favourite memories, the worst pies you ever ate, the stupidest things you've ever heard said in a crowd ... the lot.'
Contributing to the book is very easy. The details are on Neil's website - www.neilnixon.com - if you click on the 'Books' page there is an explanation of the Blue Army project. Anyone e-mailing Neil from the site and marking their e-mail 'Blue Army' will be sent a Word document into which they can drop their memories and stories.

Picture the scene - the presents have been opened, the dinner is slowly cooking, and the kids are in the yard playing with the new puppy. You decide to pass some time away at Brunton Park, and you come away a few hours later having witnessed one of 'the' games of the decade. That's how it was for the 6,556 hardy souls who turned up to see Ian Atkinson (2), Ernie Bond and Tommy Kinloch add to the 3 (yes that's three) own goals shipped by hapless Rochdale in this whopping 7-2 festive victory.
News also to follow on Northern and Proud - Biography of Bob Stokoe (written by Paul Harrison), and Each Game As It Comes by Paul Simpson (ghost written by Andy Hall).
