Flying winger Joe Anyinsah played his first 20 minutes for the club against Bristol Rovers this weekend and was pleased with how things went.

He told us: "It was an exciting game to play in, and I'm sure it's one the fans will have enjoyed watching. The pace of the game was good, and I think we were unlucky not to get a win at the end."

"I found it quite easy to settle, to  be honest," he said, "because the lads have made me feel welcome, and I like the way they play football. I know I only had the one day with them on Friday, but it was nice to get in to the squad today. I didn't find any problems in playing in the game at all, even though I have just got here."

"I like to get forward," he added. "I like to attack, and I see that as one of my main strengths. I have a bit of pace, and I like to get behind defenders as much as possible. I had a decent shot saved towards the end, and I'll be telling everyone that I meant it, especially as it was flying towards the top corner!"

"We were going for it at the end," he explained. "That made us a bit sloppy, and we almost paid the price for it., but we desperately wanted the win. We all feel that we created enough to have won it, and we're a little disappointed that we didn't finish them off."

"I've been really impressed since I got here," he told us. "I heard great things from Karl Hawley from when he was here, and it turns out that everything he said about the place is true. The players are great, the fans are really good, and I just want to be involved in as many games as possible now. I've signed for a month initially but, if things go the way I think they will, then maybe I'll be here for a bit longer than that. People are talking about the long journey to Bournemouth already, but that's all part and parcel of football to me. I'm used to it, so I'm just here to do my bit and enjoy the experience."
