WEEKLY INJURY UPDATE

Posted on: Wed 18 Aug 2010

Club physio Dolly brings us up to day with the news from the treatment table:

Jason Price has a small thigh muscle tear that will keep him out for approximately two weeks. He did it in training last Thursday and obviously missed the trip to Plymouth at the weekend. His treatment is ongoing at the moment.

Danny Livesey was with his surgeon on Monday and he is happy that everything is healing as it should be. We can now begin his rehab programme with his core exercises and some very light CV work. We hope to have him back in training in approximately 8 weeks time.

Paddy O'Brien had the operation to tighten a ligament in his shoulder last Thursday, and that appears to have gone well. He is expected to be out for 8 to 12 weeks depending on how well he recovers from here on in.

Brad Potts will have a precautionary scan on his bruised foot on Friday, so he will miss the Youth game against Bury on Saturday. Hopefully that will show that there is nothing else going on in there.

Mark Sloan missed out on the game against Preston last weekend with a groin problem and we will be resting him again this weekend, as he still doesn't feel right. Hopefully that will settle itself down quickly.
