WEEKLY INJURY UPDATE

Posted on: Mon 21 Jun 2010

Our injury update for this week is as follows:

Kevan Hurst is out of his knee brace and is now progressing with his rehab programme. He has started some light running work.

Matt Robson is back with his surgeon next week for further scans and consultation to check on his progress as he continues his rehab programme on his injured foot.

Joe Anyinsah is running again and is now in his final stages of rehab in a bid to get him back into full training.

Peter Murphy will be back to see his surgeon again next week for another check up on his situation following his recent knee injury.

Tom Taiwo had a minor problem with his ankle following a heavy challenge in the game last Saturday. We are hopeful that he will return to training at the end of this week and that he will be available for Saturday, if required.

Ian Harte picked up a groin problem last Saturday but, all being well, he will have trained towards the end of this week and he will be available for the weekend.

Danny Livesey injured his lower stomach / pelvis area in training on Tuesday and he is due to have a scan today. We will have more information once his scan results have been received.

Kieran Cahill is now out of his brace and we will increase his rehab programme.
