WEEKLY INJURY UPDATE

Posted on: Mon 21 Jun 2010

The latest news from the treatment room is as follows:

David Raven is back in full training and we will now get him some game time with the Reserves as we continue to build up his fitness.

Kevan Hurst has seen our knee surgeon. He doesn't require surgery but he will need to go into a knee brace for several weeks. Unfortunately it is likely that he may not play again this season.

Danny Livesey trained with no problems down at Watford last Friday but, unfortunately, he suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem on Saturday morning during another training session. We will assess it and we will probably book him in for a scan. I am expecting him to be out for 3 to 4 weeks.

Andy Cook is continuing with his rehab programme and light training and we may send him back to Lilleshall for another period with them. All being well, he should resume full training after that.

Kieran Cahill damaged his knee ligament in the Youth game last week. He has been scanned and has seen our surgeon, and has also been put in a brace. It is expected that he will be out for a couple of months.
