WEEKLY INJURY UPDATE

Posted on: Mon 21 Jun 2010

The latest on the injury situation is as follows:

Scott Dobie returned to training on Wednesday following his hip / groin problem. All being well he should be available for this weekend's game.

David Raven is away at Lilleshall this week for his last spell of rehabilitation. He has done really well and is approximately a week or two away from a return to full training.

Andy Cook is also at Lilleshall this week and is coming on nicely. We are hopeful that he will get a couple of games in before the end of the season.

Ben Marshall picked up a dead calf following a heavy challenge in Tuesday's game. We are currently working on decreasing the swelling and we will have to see how he responds with regards to this weekend's game.

Kevan Hurst has tweaked a ligament in his knee and will not be available for this weekend. He will continue with his treatment and will be further assessed early next week.

Danny Livesey has a slight strain of his hamstring and some muscle spasm in his back / buttocks. He will not be available for this weekend and will continue with treatment over the next few days. He will be assessed again in the early part of next week.

Lenny Pidgeley has seen a surgeon on Wednesday for a check x-ray on his hand and it is healing very well. He should resume full training next Tuesday, all being well.
