LATEST INJURY NEWS

Posted on: Mon 21 Jun 2010

The latest from the treatment room at Brunton Park:

Paul Thirlwell had a good 75 minutes in the Reserves last week with no problems and he is back and involved with the squad, which is good news for everyone.

Richard Offiong had a full 90 minutes in the Rochdale Reserve game with no problems at all. Again, he is back and involved with the squad.

David Raven will go down to Lilleshall for further rehabilitation this week, mostly for a change of scenery. He will be back with us at the club next Monday to continue his work.

Andy Cook is out of his protective boot and has started with bike work. He has also begun some light resistance work and he will continue to build that up. The bone graft is healing nicely and he is continuing to improve.

Gavin Rothery had his staples removed last week from the bilateral hernia operation that he underwent earlier this month. He will now begin some light rehab work and we expect him to be out for about a month.
