MONDAY INJURY UPDATE

Posted on: Mon 19 Oct 2009

Our regular look at the goings on in the the treatment room:

Paul Thirlwell is progressing nicely following his Achilles problem. He is still on his rehab programme at the moment and, as things stand, there is a possibility that he could return to training at some point next week.

David Raven is waiting for a specialist appointment in London, and we hope that will take place this week. He will see a hip specialist who will conduct a further series of tests. We will have further information on that once the appointment goes ahead and the test results come back.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson has a slight problem with a muscle on the side of his body, picked up during the game on Saturday. It is being treated at the moment and we are very hopeful that he will be available for the visit of Southend on Saturday.

Simon Lakeland continues to build up the muscles and strength around his knee and he is progressing at a good rate. There is still work for him to do, but it is definitely showing signs of improvement.
