LATEST INJURY NEWS

Posted on: Wed 26 Aug 2009

The latest from the treatment room ahead of tonight's Carling Cup second-round tie at Ashton Gate:

Richard Keogh is continuing to work on getting the swelling down in his ankle but the bruising is coming out nicely now. He will continue with his rehab work and has not travelled with the squad today.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson is still suffering with his back spasm problem and, again, he has been left out of the trip down south as a precautionary measure. However, there is a possibility that he could return to training as early as next week.

Simon Lakeland will have his knee brace settings changed next week as he continues to improve. Rehab work is ongoing with a particular focus on working on strengthening the area around the knee.
