Latest update from the treatment table:
Graham Kavanagh saw his surgeon on Wednesday afternoon and was diagnosed with a tendon problem in his left shoulder. He has been referred for a second opinion, and it is hoped that the appointment for that will come through before the weekend. Once the results from that visit are through we will then know how we are going to proceed.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson took a few knocks and bumps during the Hull City game, but he has come through that with no problems. The first tackle involved the toe that was operated on, and that was good from a psychological point of view in that it showed him that he was going to be able to cope with full contact on the area. He has trained today with no problems at all.
Scott Dobie has a 6" cut to his shin, picked up when he went one-on-one with the keeper on Tuesday night. It is slightly sore and there is some very light swelling, but it is already healing well. He will be fine for the Middlesbrough game.
Jamie Cleary is suffering with a medial ligament problem in his left knee. He has been booked in for a scan, and that will probably take place on Saturday. We will know the full extent of the injury once we have seen the results from that.
