BBC Online confirm that United Boss Neil McDonald has ended his interest in recent trialist Reggie Faria.

Carlisle boss Neil McDonald has decided not to pursue his interest in Dutch winger Reggie Faria.

Faria, who played in the 2-0 pre-season friendly win against Barrow last weekend, has been holding with Barrow since leaving the Cumbrians.

McDonald told the club's website: "We had a look at him but we have decided not to follow that up at this stage.

"The search for players to continue as we work hard to bring in the right people to help to move us forward."
