Football in the Community have a room upstairs in the Neil Centre used  for their Saturday Club and various events. The Princes Trust Team 45 from Carlisle College decided the room would very much benefit from a lick of paint as part of their Community project.

Jenny Fiddler, one of the team leaders, told us: "We did this as part of the groups12 week personal development P T course at Carlisle College . The 12 young people chose to re-decorate the community room at Carlislisle United. To do this they did a sponsored walk to raise funds for materials, some of which were also donated by Dulux and Johnstone's Paint. The colour scheme and murals were all chosen and designed by the students who thoroughly enjoyed doing the project."
