Carlisle United will hold a preliminary pitch inspection ahead of the weekend League One home game against Millwall at 1pm on Thursday 7 January 2010.

With the snow and freezing conditions continuing to hold Cumbria in its grip, and with Millwall planning to travel north on Thursday, the club took the decision to consult with the Football League to secure an early pitch inspection.

We will, of course, bring you the outcome of the inspection, on Thursday, as soon as it is known.
