The Carlisle United squad came in early last Thursday so that they could pop along to the Richard Rose Central Academy to open their new gym facility.

The gym, which opens to the public on 2 November, boasts state of the art equipment. Clients will use a chip card to record their fitness programme and can check up on their progress at home when they go online.

Paul Charnock co-ordinated the opening with Community Officer John Halpin, while the United players enjoyed their pre-training work out.
