JUNIOR BLUES CHRISTMAS PARTY 2004

Posted on: Tue 31 May 2011

autographsLast night saw an opportunity for the Junior branch of the Official Supporters Club to descend on Brunton Park for their Christmas Party and the event ended up being a hugely enjoyable affair for all concerned.

First team players and management attended the do and found themselves besieged by the youngsters who took every opportunity to get their favourites to sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Never ones to miss out on a photo opportunity ourselves we took the chance to get a photograph of both the oldest and the youngest of the Junior Blue members.  Thepaul and louie youngest, 12 day old Louie Thompson, can be seen pictured here with team manager Paul Simpson, peacefully oblivious to the uproar going on around him.  Louie is the grandson of CUOSC stalwart Helen Fuller and was registered with the Supporters Club on the day of the his birth, 11 December.  Something tells us it won't be the last time he'll be seeing Brunton Park.

The oldest, Claire Collinson, is shown pictured with Simon Grand and Andy claire and 2 stoogesPreece but will have been gutted to have missed out on the opportunity of a photograph with her favourite dream boat, Keiren Westwood.  There is some good news, though, as she is the proud owner of a signed pair of gloves as worn by the young heart-throb.

The party went off without a hitch and the Club hope that all the Junior Blue members had a good time.  Merry Christmas to one and all.
