2 mins - Liam Noble picked the ball up in his own half and strode forward with purpose. He spotted Courtenay off his line and unleashed an amazing 45-yard shot which dipped just wide of the target.

4 mins - Patient work on the right flank for Workington brought a cross from Kennedy. Brad Potts moved quickly to head it behind for a corner.

9 mins - Jonny Wright was clattered by Gillespie just inside the United area as an awkward ball bounced over the top. The ref pointed to the spot and Dabba Hewson pulled rank to take the penalty and score as part of his testimonial celebrations.

11 mins - Gillies fed Lee Miller through one-on-one with Courtenay and the keeper clipped a heel to send the big striker to the floor. He dusted himself off to make no mistake with a crisp penalty finish into the roof of the net.

15 mins - Brad Potts showed strength tight by the corner flag and clipped a low cross into the box as green shirts flooded forward. Dave Symington went for a first time shot but he was leaning back and he sent it high over the bar.

19 mins - A raking pass from Livesey found Symington and he picked a lovely lobbed cross which had Emerton interested. Courtenay raced off his line to punch it clear.

24 mins - Lee Miller jumped to flick the ball into the path off Emerton and his deflected cross brought a corner which Kennedy cleared.

26 mins - Hindmarch combined with a one-two before trying a first time shot from 23 yards. He struck it well but it was always going wide.

30 mins - Symington scuffed a 24-yard free kick into the wall as he lined up one of his specials.

32 mins - Gillies swung a lovely corner into the box and a touch from Miller set it up nicely for Livesey to volley. He found the power but not the direction as it angled high.

34 mins - Good football from United was spearked by a pass from Lynch to Symington. Kyle May did well to intercept before Miller could finish the cross off.

36 mins - A surging run from Hindmarch created space and his cut-back for Jonny Wright invited a first time shot. He couldn't keep it down and Gillespie remained untroubled.

44 mins - Gavin Skelton pounced on a half clearance from a Mckenna cross and was a whisker away from notching a goal as his whisked volley shaved the upright.

75 mins - Dempsey and Brough passed their way through midfield but Skelton was on hand to tackle as Beck called for a pass.

82 mins - Workington won two corners in quick succession but Lewis Brass showed good hands to pluck the second one out of the air.
