The Doonhamers left the behind-closed-doors friendly with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday with trialist Nicky Walker bagging United's goal from the spot in the second half.Head of recruitment Lee Dykes said: "It was a good chance for us to get pitch time for some of the players who haven't played recently and for us to look at a couple of trial players.
"Queen of the South approached it in the right way and it was a useful afternoon for us."
