Team Doctor position available
An opportunity has arisen at Carlisle United Football Club for a Team Doctor.
The role requires flexibility on Saturdays, Tuesday evenings and public holidays for attendance at all first team home fixtures. The role will be offered on a part-time basis and the salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
Main roles and responsibilities
+ Providing emergency match day medical cover for players during first team home fixtures
+ Assist with diagnosis and treatment of injuries on players
+ Medical and health screening of players
+ Undertaking CPD as prescribed by the FA, The Football League and the club
+ Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Personal requirements
+ A Diploma in Sports Medicine
+ A current Football Association Advanced Resuscitation and Emergency Aid Certificate
+ A registered medical practitioner licenced to practise by the General Medical Council
+ Current CRB clearance
+ Experience of working within elite sport (preferably football) would be an advantage
The position is salaried and will be dependent upon experience.
