A brace from Max Brown helped dominant United to claim their place in the third round of this season's Youth Alliance Cup as they bossed the pace of the game pretty much from start to finish.
"We created a lot of chances, particularly in the first half, and we deserved the win," youth coach Vince Overson said. "Their keeper was sent off with 15 minutes left to go but we were in control by then.
"The good thing was that they went very direct and we changed our formation to cope with it. The lads readjusted quickly and they can take credit for that.
"Overall we played very well and we got the reward for it. We haven't been able to say that too much in recent weeks."
