The young Blues enjoyed a good test at the end of a tough period over in the north east as West Auckland edged a competitive game by a single goal.
"The lads worked hard and we had a couple of good chances which went close," youth boss Alan Moore said. "It's been an intense few weeks for the lads and this was a really good way for them to round things off.
"We'd like to thank West Auckland for having us and for the way they looked after us. They made us feel really welcome and, as I say, gave the lads a really good test out on the pitch."
