United ended their season on a high with a 4-2 victory against Morecambe courtesy of a very good performance.
The Cumbrians went into the break with a 2-1 lead, courtesy of Mikey Quigley and Kieran Hall, and they bagged another two second half goals when Arron Bradbury added to a second of the day from Quigley.
"We were really good in terms of creating chances," youth coach Dave Wilkes said. "We hit the bar twice and had another one disallowed, so that side of our game was very productive.
"I was disappointed with the goals conceded but, overall, the lads deserve a big pat on the back for the way they have rounded things off."
