United played well but conceded two soft goals on their relatively short trip to Fleetwood on Saturday morning.
Youth boss Alan Moore said: "The lads were really unlucky because they played well.
"We're disappointed with the manner of the goals we gave away but we're pleased that there are plenty of positives to take away from it."
