Matty Douglas scored just after the break, to cancel out the home lead, and United went on to create numerous chances without quite managing to find a winner against Blackpool on Saturday morning.
United had a goal they felt should have been allowed to stand ruled out, but youth boss Alan Moore was pleased with what he saw.
"It was a good game and we had some stand out performances," he said. "We couldn't find the second goal we needed, we come away feeling pleased with what we saw."
