Matt Young joins on loan from Sheffield Wednesday
Carlisle United Football Club have this week signed Sheffield Wednesday defender Matt Young on a one-month loan deal which keeps him at Brunton Park until 10 February 2015.
Young, 20, moved to Hillsborough on a one-year deal in June last year having spent three years at Southampton playing primarily in their Development Squad.
He began his career at Tottenham Hotspur before his move to St Mary’s at the age of 16, where he signed his first professional deal in May 2012.
Manager Keith Curle will talk about this move after today's home fixture against Cambridge United.
Young will wear shirt number 31.
