United pleased to be hosting Dream Placement Selection Event
Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to be hosting the Centre for Leadership Performance Dream Placement Selection Event in Foxy's Restaurant on Tuesday 13 December.Centre for Leadership Performance work with young people across the county to help develop Cumbria's leaders for today and tomorrow.
The Dream Placement scheme brings together Cumbria's brightest young students with some of the most successful and forward thinking businesses in the county.
Each student will complete a week long work placement with their host company where they will get to see how the real world of business operates.
On Tuesday 13 December, Foxy's Restaurant will be hosting the selection event where each company will 'speed interview' five students before choosing which will best suit their business.
Once the students have been confirmed, they will come to a Development Day to ensure they are 'placement ready' before going out to their business during the February half term.
Sales and Marketing Director Phil King said: "We're delighted to be able to play such a big part in what is an excellent initiative, both for businesses and students.
"We're looking forward to seeing the process in action and to watching our business partners link up with some real stars of the future.
"We took part in the Dream Placement Scheme last season and we found it to be extremely rewarding, and we're looking forward to seeing and interviewing some of Cumbria's brightest young students next Tuesday."
