Minute by minute from the FA Youth Cup game
United gave an excellent account of themselves at the King Power Stadium as they overcame a nervous opening to give as good as they got against their illustrious hosts.Two first half goals proved to be the difference as Leicester progreessed to face Middlesbrough in the fifth round.
2 mins - United attack down the right flank but Ughelumba stepped across to clear long. Webber tried to carry the ball forward as it bounced but Taylor hooked it away for United.
4 mins - Ndukwu let fly from distance but it took a deflection and Bacon was able to scoop it up.
7 mins - A scuffed clearance from Bacon left him facing two attackers with little in the way of cover. The stopper recovered quickly to make two vital blocks.
11 mins - Leshabela ran from his own half and let fly when he reached the edge of the Carlisle box. His shot was weak and easy for Bacon to grasp.
13 mins - Nice skill from Ndukwu took him past Olsen but his shot was weak.
14 mins - A drilled corner was missed by the United defence and Ughelumba guided it in from close range.
17 mins - Ughelumba came forward again and wasn't too far away as he crunched a shot on the run just wide.
20 mins - A 20-yard Ndukwu free kick hit the wall and dropped over the bar.
24 mins - A good passage of play put Ndukwu in a dangerous area but his shot was watched all the way by Bacon.
25 mins - United were dealt a cruel blow when Webber tried his luck from 23-yards. It took a wicked deflection and looped over the stranded Carlisle keeper.
31 mins - A long through ball was trapped by Webber just inside the area. He twisted and turned but his shot lacked conviction.
33 mins - The dangerous Ndukwu weaved his way into the area but he popped his shot right at Bacon.
34 mins - Breen took charge of a 35-yard free kick and wasn't too far away as he curled it just past the post.
36 mins - A sight of goal for Ndukwu brought another shot. Bacon spread himself and used his legs to make the block.
38 mins - Webber bent a shot wide and then Ndukwu rasped one just over as the home side kept pushing forward.
41 mins - Hall pulled wide and crossed into the area. A half clearance sat up for Egan but his volley was gathered by Yates.
42 mins - It was a better spell for Carlisle and a Max Brown shot was deflected behind as he shot on the spin.
43 mins - United were right back in it as Olsen surged forward. He put a pass through for Salkeld and the big United forward didn't disappoint as he slid it under the keeper from a tight angle.
46 mins - High ball into the Carlisle box wasn't dealt with. Clearance fell to Webber but he poked his shot onto the bar.
48 mins - Webber shot from 18 yards but Bacon was there to palm it wide.
55 mins - Thandi sent a speculative shot over from long range.
57 mins - Dewsbury-Hall shot from 20 yards but it deflected wide for a corner. Bacon got a hand to that as it dropped out of the sky and Olsen completed the clearance.
61 mins - A lovely through ball from Salkeld gave Hall a clear sight. He connected with a sweet shot but Yates pulled off an excellent save to deny United their equaliser.
67 mins - Foxes' sub Conor Tee was the latest from the home side to send a shot right at Bacon.
71 mins - Adewusi persistence earned a corner. Egan delivered it, Taylor flicked it on at the near post but it skipped across the face of the target and went behind for a goal kick.
74 mins - Johnson headed a Hodby corner high over the bar.
83 mins - Ndukwu was in acres of space on the penalty spot. Just the keeper to beat, he blazed it wide.
88 mins - Egan stepped inside and curled a shot over the keeper. It rattled back off the bar as he set himself to celebrate.
90 mins - Bacon saves from Ndukwu, Leicester hit the post, bacon save sagain from Webber. Stunning stuff.
