Keith Curle ahead of the trip to Leyton Orient
Manager Keith Curle spoke to us about the trip to Leyton Orient as he looks to consolidate the current top three position with a strong away performance.“Leyton Orient will be hurting about where they are in the league table because they have some very good players,” he said. “They’ve been going through a tough time recently but they can be a real threat, particularly at home.
“They’ll be looking to get back to winning ways so that they climb away from the bottom area of the division as quickly as possible. We know exactly what it’s like to be in that situation and we also know what team spirit and hard work can do to help you get out of it.
“That’s what we expect to see from them. They’ll give everything for each other and they will battle and scrap every step of the way. We’ll need to match that and stop them from getting on top because they also have some decent footballers who can put you on the back foot.”
“We’ve done our homework and we’ll show Leyton Orient the same level of respect as we do for all clubs,” he continued. “It will be about how we play our game and I know the team we put out will be very competitive.
“We want the three points for our own reasons and it’s been fantastic to hear about the number of fans who have already bought tickets to be there to support us. I know they won’t be out-sung by the home fans and my players will go out there to give them a performance they can be proud of.”
