BIG MATCH PREVIEW: Cambridge United

10 March 2017

Everything you need to know ahead of the weekend game

United face Cambridge in the latest big game here at Brunton Park on Saturday with the Cumbrians looking to get back to winning ways following a run of disappointing results.

The boys from the The Abbey have lost just once in their last five outings but they head north to face a side which is determined to put on an entertaining and points-winning performance.

Manager Keith Curle said: “Nobody has been happy with the recent results but the pleasing thing is that we have a group of players who are desperate to put it right. They don’t like losing games and they know how hard they’ve worked to get to where they are.

“This is the business end of the season and everyone has been reminded that any mistakes made have to be done in the right areas as we try to do the right things. What I can guarantee is that we’re going to give everything we’ve got as we look to finish the season off successfully.”
